Notes from Colony Cats (& dogs)

DOB: 5/4/25

Hi, I’m Timmy — a gentle soul with a soft spot for the little guys. I came to the shelter when my previous owner could no longer afford to care for me, and now I’m hoping to find a new family to call my own.

One of my favorite things about being here is spending time with the kittens in the juvie room. Volunteers say I almost “mother” the little ones who come in with me, keeping them company and showing them the ropes. I’m just a sweet, nurturing guy at heart!

When it comes to people, I’m a fan of gentle pets and soft voices. Give me a little love and I’ll happily soak up the attention. And when it’s time to play, apparently my standards for toys aren’t very complicated — if it resembles a string or a pen, I’m interested!

I’ve already shown everyone here what a kind, gentle boy I am. Now I’m just waiting for a family who will appreciate my sweet nature and give me the loving home I deserve. Could that be you?

Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**

What happens next

  1. Contact Colony Cats (& dogs) using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Colony Cats (& dogs), never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
