Notes from AJ's Search & Rescue

CUCKOO FEMALE 1.5 YR She is shy at first, but does like affection. Would prefer a quiet home. Fostered with dogs, and mostly ignores them. Would be happy in a home alone, with cats, or calm dog. Litter box trained. DOB 2/14/26 She did get diagnosed with FIP this year after getting very sick unexpectedly. She has completed the 3 month medication treatment plan and is doing great! She does not require anymore on going medical attention. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been FIV/LeLV tested (negative), microchipped, and on flea prevention. The adoption fee is $120.00 If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application. What happens next

  1. Contact AJ's Search & Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to AJ's Search & Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
