Notes from G.R.A.S.P., Inc.

Cleo DOB: 4/20/2026 If you've been following along Cleo's journey with GRASP, you'd know that this girl's bio has been updated pretty much monthly because this girl never ceases to stop learning and growing! Cleo was brought in as a feral kitten at just a month old after her mama cat was tragically hit by a car, leaving Cleo and her siblings to fend for themselves. Through months of love and care by GRASP fosters, Cleo's siblings all learned to love people and embrace new lives with forever families. Unfortunately, Cleo hasn't found the right family for her. Cleo's only 'flaw' that is holding people back from finding her perfect the way we do, is that she does not like to be touched. No picking her up or petting this sweet girl, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want to be part of the family. Cleo has been crashing in a home with toddlers and she absolutely adores them. She will follow them around the house, sleep at the foot of their bed, and hang out on the couch with them at the same time just not on their lap. We believe with time, patience, and love this girl will eventually allow pets and snuggles, but if she doesn't, is it the worst thing to have an adorable shadow hanging around the family? We don't think so! Ideally, she'll have another cat or two to hang with as well as she is happiest with other cats around. She currently lives with dogs and does not like when they approach her, but if they are asleep on the couch she doesn't mind laying on the opposite side of them. So respectful dogs are a maybe, but she'd really probably do best without one. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
