Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

Meet Bento Box Blake! Shy at first, this sweet boy warms up quickly after a couple days. Bento needs a good hiding spot in order to get comfortable in new spaces, and even if he’s not ready to come out yet, he loves getting pets and will purr instantly. Once comfortable, he’s a great companion who revels in attention and will follow you as you go about your home. He is a vocal cat and loves to explore and find new hiding spots. He warms up quickly to his humans, but can still be nervous around new experiences (people, noises, etc.).

Bento would make a great family pet as he loves everybody equally. He loves to play, and his favorite toys have been a wand and a ball that he likes to chase around. However, nothing makes Bento happier than spending time with his humans. Make sure this energetic guy has lots of climbing places or else he’ll find his own, and never leave your cup of water unattended! Even though he still has kitten energy, he’s happy to lay next to you and hang out together.

This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.
