Notes from Brooklyn Animal Action

Beautiful Benny is such a sweet boy. This lovebug adores making biscuits! He loves petting and attention and couldn't be happier now that he's with a caring foster. Benny was rescued from a home where his human passed and he is very ready for a forever home with a human who will love him as much as he loves them. This handsome guy will make the purrfect companion to anyone looking for a best friend and love. Here is a video of him making biscuits: https://youtube.com/shorts/StuTh02INi0

Benny is about 4 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV+ and FeLV-. Though he tested positive for FIV, he is asymptomatic and needs no meds or special treatment. With proper care (a good diet and annual vet visits, as for any cat), he will live a long, normal life. You can read up on FIV here.

If you would like to meet Benny, please fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make navigate to Benny as the cat, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form!

Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

What happens next

  1. Contact Brooklyn Animal Action using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Brooklyn Animal Action, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
