Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

This polydactyl prince is finally ready for the VIP life after many years struggling to survive on the street in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and impregnating many female cats. Six Toes, as named by one of his rescuers, charmed so many neighbors during his time outside, but was notoriously hard to trap. Finally, after earning his trust, one of them was able to simply pick him up and put him in a carrier! While we don't know how he ended up on the street, we do know that he loves people and likely had a home at some point. We promised him he's never going back outside again!

He is still adjusting to the transition back to indoor life and so we are looking for a patient and experienced adopter, who knows how to read his cues. He is very food motivated and starting to play!

Six Toes is neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV and positive for FIV.

Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet him and thank you!
