Notes from Brooklyn Animal Action

Meet Phoenix, an elegant lady who's ready for her forever home!

This grande dame was named for her place of rescue: Phoenix Community Garden. She simply spends her days looking beautiful, sleeping on blankets, and begging for your affection. Phoenix is elegant, loyal, sweet, soft, and shiny. Her fosters say, "Once she warms up to you, she’s all heart. Truly the prettiest flower in the garden, and one sweet potato."

Phoenix was found by her fosters meowing at passersby. They could sense she was an abandoned pet and did the right thing: bringing her inside and getting her vetted!

Phoenix is about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She loves her humans but prefers to be an only pet.

To adopt Phoenix, please fill out the form on our Website:

Mention Phoenix as the cat, and SuseG as the rescuer.
