Ekaterina & Zhenya
Domestic Short Hair · Young (6 months) · Brooklyn, NY
Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.
Ekaterina and Zhenya are beautiful young siblings.
These two started out feeling a little uncertain and timid. They are growing friendlier and more trusting every single day. Each little step — coming closer, accepting affection — is a reminder of just how much potential they have.
Ekaterina is a sweet and curious little girl. She can be cautious at first, but her curiosity is winning out and she’s discovering that humans aren’t so scary after all.
Zhenya, her brother, is also becoming more confident by the day. Having his sister beside him seems to give him that extra bit of courage as he explores his surroundings and learns to trust.
They’re still young, playful kittens who will do best with someone who understands that building trust takes patience — and who will give them the time and reassurance they need to truly blossom.
