Arowana & Flatbread
Domestic Short Hair · Young (6 months) · Male · Brooklyn, NY
Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.
Arowana and Flatbread are a pair of adopted brothers who just need a little bit of time and patience to adjust to their new surroundings! Both rescued as older kittens, we've worked hard to socialize them and build them up to be the best versions of themselves!
Arowana is the Siamese patterned kitten, and with some pets and attention he starts purring his little heart out! He's brave and friendly, and loves to show Flatbread the ropes. Flatbread will very rarely give a cursory hiss on approach, but leans into pets and is clearly just a scared little guy. Once you give him some cheek pets, he will start headbutting you and wiggling to try to get closer, burrowing into your hand. We think his little hello hiss is actually hilarious! He's never been aggressive at all. If you pick him up he'll burrow his tiny head into your chest, it's so cute.
