Notes from Mid Hudson Animal Aid

Hi! My name is Kitty. I arrived at MHAA with my son, Eric, after a good Samaritan found and cared for us when we were strays. I am a bit shy at first but if you are patient and calm, and offer me some treats, you can pet me and see how sweet I am! I love hanging out in the sun in a nice cozy bed. Eric and I have a special mother-son bond and we need to be adopted together, so we can give you twice as much love! You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only). For more information, please contact Mid Hudson Animal Aid at (845) 831-4321 or send an email to sheltermanager@midhudsonanimalaid.org. You can complete the adoption application when you visit, or submit this form online: http://www.midhudsonanimalaid.org/adoption-application-2/

What happens next

  1. Contact Mid Hudson Animal Aid using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Mid Hudson Animal Aid, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
