Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

Aurora is a very friendly and social cat looking for her forever home. As a junior kitty, she is playful, curious, and loves being involved in whatever her humans are up to. She will happily follow you from room to room and wants to be part of the action. Like most young cats, she loves to play, and then eat and sleep -- preferably somewhere close to her people.

Not much is known about Aurora’s history -- she was found outside the cafe in an IKEA bag (not in a carrier, just loose sitting in the bag on top of a pile of dry food). She has been very comfortable since her very first night in her foster home.

Aurora is the most sweet and loving cat. She likes to stay close to her humans at all times, loves to nuzzle, and enjoys some pets when she is relaxed. As she has become more comfortable in her foster home, she has grown increasingly affectionate and trusting.

She is also an energetic young cat who requires plenty of interactive playtime and does best with a good amount of play each day. Like all torties, she has a ton of personality and will definitely let you know when she thinks playtime is overdue! When she is under-stimulated, she may try to play with hands and feet. She has been improving with this and has been very smart about learning boundaries and redirecting her energy appropriately.

Aurora would do best as the only cat in her home. She is looking for people who will appreciate her playful personality, give her plenty of interactive playtime, and enjoy having a sweet, social companion who wants to be part of their everyday life.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
