Notes from Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

Hot Bread and Soda Bread are two little cousins who grew up together in a Coney Island basement. We're not sure if they're siblings or simply the very best of friends, but one thing is certain: these two absolutely adore each other! You'll often find them snuggled up together, finding comfort and security in their special bond.

Hot Bread is the sleek, beautiful black kitten with a heart as sweet as her name with the cutest little face. She's shy at first but incredibly affectionate once she feels safe. She prefers that you initiate cuddle time, and if you scoop her up for some snuggles, you'll be rewarded with lots of purrs. She's a wonderful nap partner who loves to stretch out and relax when she's comfortable. She looks to Soda Bread for reassurance, play, and companionship.

Soda Bread is the handsome tabby boy and the braver, more adventurous half of this duo. He's playful, curious, and a total love bug who will happily seek you out for affection and cuddle time. At least until something exciting catches his attention! He's also a wonderful companion to Hot Bread and gets along beautifully with the resident cat.

With a little patience and the comfort of one another, these two slightly shy sweethearts will blossom into loving companions. Give them a few days to settle in, and you may soon have two little purr machines and a lifetime of cuddle piles. Could you be the forever home these two best friends have been waiting for?
