Notes from Brooklyn Animal Action

Sweet Magpie came to us along side her housemate Fiddlesticks (who was since adopted!) under unfortunate circumstances. They were in a home where they were clearly loved, but their owner was dealing with personal issues and realized the kitties deserved more than they were able to provide. We were happy to be able to help them find new loving homes!

Magpie is a doll who wants little more than your love and attention. She will headbutt you for pets and affection and is truly such an easygoing, friendly girl. She would be a great addition to any home. She would be fine as an only pet, but she gets along great with other cats!

Magpie is about 3 years old and healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

If you're interested in meeting Magpie, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Magpie and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!

Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

What happens next

  1. Contact Brooklyn Animal Action using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Brooklyn Animal Action, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
