Patchouli
Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · Adult (3 years 8 months) · Male · Brooklyn, NY
Notes from Brooklyn Animal Action
Patchouli is as close to a living teddy bear as you could get!
He loves lounging and sleeping in cat beds, but gets good bursts of energy throughout the day. He is a happy boy, has countless zoomies through the evening, makes biscuits in his bed and falls asleep like he has not slept in days. He is also a very funny boy who will keep you laughing and on your toes with his round face and goofy antics
Patchouli enjoys pets with his eyes closed in enjoyment and his mouth open, and enjoys following people around for extra snacks. His ideal home would be one where he has the company of another outgoing cat who matches his energy, and humans who can be patient with him as he eases into his indoor life.
Patchouli was rescued from the streets during the blizzard in January early this year and wasn't sure whether to trust humans. A few days into his indoor life, he started to enjoy his food and came out of his play pen for Churus - we always knew he loved his food, and figured that the way to his heart was through his belly. He was eager to get out of his playpen and explore his surroundings. He has always wanted to be around and follow other cats in his foster homes.
Patchouli is approximately 3-4 years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is negative for FeLV and positive for FIV, with no secondary symptoms or concerns. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas.
