Notes from New York City Cat Coalition

Meet Jacklyn! Jacklyn is a wonderful young girl who is ready to leave her mama days behind and find a forever home of her own!

Jacklyn was rescued alongside her two kittens, Jack and Jaque. She was a devoted mama, but now that her kittens are growing up, Jacklyn is ready for a little well-deserved attention of her own.

We think Jacklyn would be happiest as the only kitty in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She is an affectionate sweetheart who enjoys being petted just as much as she enjoys playtime, making her a lovely combination of cuddly and fun.

Jacklyn is currently looking for either a foster or adoptive home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly settled.

She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, litter-box trained, FIV and FeLV negative, and has been treated for potential parasites and fleas.

After taking such wonderful care of her kittens, Jacklyn deserves a chance to be someone's beloved baby again. A loving home where she can be the center of attention may be exactly what this sweet girl has been waiting for.

To learn more or apply to adopt Jacklyn, please email nycatcoaladopt@yahoo.com or call Joan at (718) 671-1695. An online adoption form is also available - click here to apply.

What happens next

  1. Contact New York City Cat Coalition using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to New York City Cat Coalition, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
