Notes from New York City Cat Coalition

Looking for an entertaining, active, and endlessly playful companion? Meet Alice! This goofy, energetic adventure cat is approximately 1 year old and ready to find a home where she can put her playful personality to good use.

Alice loves spending her days chasing toys, exploring every corner of the house, and racing around with her foster brother, MooMoo. She has some impressive bursts of energy, affectionately known as “zoomies,” and would thrive in a home with plenty of room to explore and a family who enjoys daily interactive play sessions.

But Alice isn't all energy! Once playtime winds down, this sweet girl is happy to settle in for pets, affection, and snuggles. She has a wonderful balance of playful enthusiasm and cuddly companionship.

Alice would be especially happy with another friendly, active, and playful cat who can keep up with her. Her bond with foster brother MooMoo is also something special, so adopting Alice and MooMoo together could be a wonderful option.

Alice is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for potential parasites and fleas, and FIV and FeLV negative.

If there is room in the home for an adventurous little whirlwind who also loves to cuddle, Alice may be the perfect match! To learn more or apply to adopt Alice, please email nycatcoaladopt@yahoo.com or call Joan at (718) 671-1695. An online adoption form is also available - click here to apply.

What happens next

  1. Contact New York City Cat Coalition using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to New York City Cat Coalition, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
