Notes from TLC Animal Rescue

MEET PENNY—SHE’S READY FOR A LOVING HOME!

After being dumped in the woods with her kittens, Penny is finally safe—and now she’s waiting for someone to give her the indoor home she deserves.

Penny is a beautiful 4-year-old dilute tortoiseshell with a sweet personality, smoky-gray coat, peachy markings, and adorable white paws. She’s friendly, cat-friendly, spayed, and vaccinated. We’re unsure how she does with dogs, so any introductions should be slow and careful.

Penny is currently staying in an outdoor catio in Millville, NJ. While she’s safe, she deserves the comfort, companionship, and security of a foster or forever home indoors.

Can't adopt right now? TLC Animal Rescue is looking for a foster home for Penny. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact TLC Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to TLC Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
