Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

Our adorable boy Clarendon is around four years old. Look at this cute face? How can anyone resist this guy. He was found outside and we're not sure who his family was. He's a big, calm , quiet guy who does well with other cats and like people. He is FIV+ and we will say it over and over, FIV is nothing to worry about, it's an immune deficiency, that's it. Clarendon can live with other cats who don't have FIV (he is now), it's not transmissable by anything other than a deep bite wound (he's a lover) , with good normal care, he will live as long as any other cat and does not need extra vet care because he is FIV+. He's a doll and needs someone to love him forever. Could you be his person ??? We hope so !!!!

If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
