Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

Maizy got really lucky. One of our volunteers was in Trenton, saw Maizy on the street, and scooped her up. This young lady was born in February. She has lots of energy and spends a lot of time bouncing around playing. She warms up to other cats (adults and kittens) after only a short period of adjustment and very much likes the presence of a playful companion. In addition to liking gentle cats, Maizy sees people as playmates and the source of laps and hugs. How Maizy ended up on the street we'll never know. But we know she was loved and had a home at one point. We hope someone adopts her soon! If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
