Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

Dehlyla got really lucky. A Trenton resident found her kittens and contacted us for help for them, she knew mom had to be nearby. So, we set a trap and caught Dehlyla. We think this sweetie is around six years old. She absolutely loves people and is a very nice cat. She does okay with other kitties if they are mellow like her. She likely had an owner who let her get pregnant many times. No more kittens for this nice girl, she's on her way to the forever home she should have had for the last six years. Who is going to give Dehlyla the home she always should have had.

If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
