Notes from EASEL Animal Rescue League

Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a sweet, playful 1-year-old mama who came to EASEL with her single kitten, Boone, after being brought in by Animal Control. Now that Bonnie is fully vetted, she’s ready to leave shelter life behind and find a loving forever home of her own. Bonnie is affectionate and playful, but loud noises and thunderstorms can make her nervous. She would thrive in a quieter home with adults or older children who will give her the love, patience, and security she deserves. Bonnie needs to be the only animal in her new home. She is not a fan of other cats or dogs, so she’s looking for a family where she can be the one and only—and get all the love and attention to herself! If you’re looking for a sweet young companion and a one-cat household sounds perfect for you, come meet Bonnie. She’s ready for her happily ever after! Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to www.easelnj.org/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.

What happens next

  1. Contact EASEL Animal Rescue League using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to EASEL Animal Rescue League, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
