Notes from Critter Companion Rescue

Born around April 2026, this striking bobtail, Gabby Girl, is a friendly little love. Although her coloring is similar to the wild Bobcat, Gabby is certainly not wild! She has gorgeous black stripes, contrasted by her white paws, and tan fur. But splashed all around are splotches of orange stripes. So she is what we call her a “tabico”, a delightful tabby - calico mix.

Gabby is a petite little lady, with that darling bobtail that she loves to wag! It seems she is always purring - greeting me at her kitten room door. She is a very friendly kitten to humans…..not exactly welcoming to other kitties, just yet, but she gets better each day. She is just cautious and likes to sit back and check out the action. She tags along with Sly, her littermate. They are two very calm, sweet and playful kittens. Just pull out a wand toy that has a feather bird on the end and it is on! I’m not sure which one can jump the highest.

Gabby is not a big eater, nor a big talker, but she is a lap lover. After catching her feathered toy, and chewing on the string, it is time to love on her human. She happily cuddles next to me or hops right on my lap. We enjoy sunbathing in the sun, as we lazily peer out the window at the actual live birds outside. But life inside this kitty room has its own special appeal: yummy food, great toys, soft beds, towers to climb and ear rubs from her favorite human.

Now, wouldn’t it be wonderful if Gabby had all those comforts, and someone special to love of her very own?

Open your heart and home to Gabby Girl, and let this lovely little lady bring a little extra joy, a lot of purrs, and plenty of cuddles into your life!
