Notes from Only Maine Coons Rescue
Located in Blairstown, NJ
Rachal
is too young to be spayed. She will require a prepaid spay agreement
It is our policy that kittens under 7 months old be adopted with a sibling, or into a home that already has a young cat- preferred under 3 years old. (dogs do not count) If you are adopting 2 kittens, please indicate in the application which other kitten you want. Adopting 2 kittens will have preference.
Rachel wants to be your friend. She went to the shelter as a "stray", along with her siblings. Rachal has been figuring out that people are a good thing. When she arrived, she would hang out in the background. She is so much better and trusting. She is not the most outgoing but is also not the shyest.
What happens next
- Contact Only Maine Coons Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Only Maine Coons Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
