Notes from EASEL Animal Rescue League

MEET OCULAR VERDE! One look into those eyes, and you’ll be completely smitten! Meet Ocular Verde, affectionately known as OV, a handsome 17-week-old tabby kitten with a heartwarming story and a bright future ahead of her! OV was transferred to EASEL from another shelter, and unfortunately, this little girl wasn’t in the best shape when she arrived. But thanks to the incredible love, dedication, and TLC she received from her amazing foster family, OV has made a wonderful recovery and is now ready for her forever home! ❤️Despite her rough start, OV is an absolute sweetheart who is ready to put her difficult beginnings behind her and start her happily-ever-after! OV is looking for a home with another young feline friend or a cat-friendly dog. Having spent time in foster care with both cats and dogs, she’s already familiar with furry companions and would love a buddy to grow up with! This precious girl has already overcome so much in her short life. Now all she needs is a family to love her forever. ✨ Could you be the one to give Ocular Verde the happy ending she deserves? Come meet this adorable little survivor during EASEL’s open hours. One look into those beautiful eyes, and you just might fall in love! Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to www.easelnj.org/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.

What happens next

  1. Contact EASEL Animal Rescue League using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to EASEL Animal Rescue League, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
