Notes from Jersey Shore Animal Center

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative. Meet Minnie! This beautiful 4-year-old black kitty is ready to trade in shelter life for a cozy home of her own! Minnie was surrendered when she suddenly stopped getting along with the other cat in her home. She’s decided she’d much rather be the one and only kitty, and honestly, she’s pretty great company all by herself! Minnie loves people, is confident, spirited, and lots of fun. She is super affectionate and loving! And if you like a cat who has something to say, you’re in luck, Minnie likes to chat! She’s ready to leave her cage behind and get back to what she really wants: a home, a person to love, and a comfy spot to call her own. Minnie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and fiv/felv negative. Come meet this beautiful black beauty! 9/18/26 12pm

What happens next

  1. Contact Jersey Shore Animal Center using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Jersey Shore Animal Center, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
