Notes from Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Inc.

Meet Malcolm!

Malcolm is the sweet, slightly shy orange boy that has stolen his fosters heart!

Many of his siblings have already been adopted. Malcolm had to wait a little longer because of his heart!

Malcolm had an echo which came back normal- he has what you call a "flow murmur". It is a 2/6. His heart is structurally HEALTHY. The murmur/sound is purely caused by the way the blood flows through his heart. Therefore, there is no worry or special needs associated with Malcolm.

Now that Malcolm has a clean bill of health, he is ready to find a furrever home!

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost. Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption. Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc. Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
