Notes from Critter Companion Rescue

Meet Uncle Dale! He is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet—gentle, loving, and devoted. Dale is a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he’ll happily curl up on your lap and keep you company.

Dale—a true companion who’s looking for his forever home! This soulful, relaxed guy enjoys lounging around and soaking up attention, especially when you scratch his head and shoulders. While he’ll occasionally play with toys, he mostly loves his rest. Don’t let his sturdy build fool you—he has a gentle, sensitive side and gets along wonderfully with his kitty cousins, nieces, and nephews. Uncle Dale only eats dry food and is a resilient 3-year-old heartworm survivor. He’d thrive in a home where he can stretch out, relax, and share his days with at least one other feline friend—maybe even a foster buddy. Are you ready to be Uncle Dale’s new best friend?

To learn more about Dale and the adoption process, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311. Approved application and adoption fee required. Dale is in Nashville and can be transported north upon adoption.

What happens next

  1. Contact Critter Companion Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Critter Companion Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
