Notes from Jersey Shore Animal Center

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative. Hunter is a handsome 3 year old male, orange tabby. Hunter needs a little time to warm up in new environments, but you'll quickly discover what a sweet, loving, and playful boy he truly is. Hunter previously lived in a home with children, so he knows what family life is all about. He's also friendly with other cats, making him a wonderful addition to many different households. Hunter has made friends with cats and kittens of all sizes and ages. He likes to play wrestle with other cats too! *Updated 10/28/28 1:10pm

What happens next

  1. Contact Jersey Shore Animal Center using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Jersey Shore Animal Center, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
