Notes from Jersey Shore Animal Center

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative. Meet Titi (pronounced Tee-Tee) This beautiful 1-year-old gray girl came to us from the local county shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation. While her past wasn't ideal, we're determined to make sure her future is filled with love. Titi is a sweet, gentle soul who may be a little shy when you first meet her, and honestly, who could blame her? Once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine. She isn't looking for anything extravagant...just a patient family, a cozy spot to nap, and a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. If you believe the best relationships are worth taking a little time to build, Titi just might be the perfect match for you. Come meet this lovely girl and help her leave her past behind for good. *Updated 10/26/26 2:30pm

What happens next

  1. Contact Jersey Shore Animal Center using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Jersey Shore Animal Center, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
