Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

Oreo Cakester is a serious force of nature. Sweet like his namesake but full of energy and ready to play! He was surrendered by a woman who was leaving the country. We think he's around 5 months old and entering his "teenage" years. He would do well in a high energy house even with other pets. He is a triple threat of adorableness (have you seen that cute little goatee he has?), playfulness (he loves a cat tube), and sweetness (often trapping his fosters under him while napping).

If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
