Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

We think our sweet, quiet, gentle Shailynn is around four years old. One of our volunteers picked this young lady up off the street in Trenton. Someone owned this her at oe point and we wish Shailynn could tell us about her previous life. What we do know is that she wants to belong to someone again. She is a shy girl and will need someone who understands that, given some time to settle in and get used to a new home, she will blossom. Love and patience is all she needs. Shailynn does do well with other kitties :-)

If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
