Notes from Trenton Cats Rescue

In early June, when Wood Lark and her six sisters and brothers were just a few days old, they moved into their foster home with their mom Woodmere. Wood Lark is the only one of the siblings who remains to be adopted. She is also the only one of the siblings to have one black toe among all the white toes on her feet; she knows the toe and she are pretty special. Wood Lark is a cuddly, playful kitten who is hanging out with Woodmere, who she loves, while she waits for her forever home. She is exceptional at all kitten games: chasing, wrestling, jumping, and grabbing at dangling toys and brooms (when her human mom sweeps the room). Wood Lark should ideally have a companion animal in her forever home (maybe her sweet, very chill feline mom Woodmere?) - or at least a forever parent who spends a great deal of time at home. If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

What happens next

  1. Contact Trenton Cats Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Trenton Cats Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
