Notes from Jersey Shore Animal Center

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative.

Our 'Mobland' kittens arrived here at 8 weeks old, now they are already 1 year old. We can’t believe they’ve grown up here! Harry, Conrad, Maeve, and Serafina are calm, loving, easy going, and they’d love to go home in pairs so they can keep the fun (and cuddles) going. Please don’t let them spend much longer waiting, they’re ready to bring joy to a forever home!

Maeve is very affectionate with people, she loves to snuggle! Maeve is the perfect balance between calm and playful. She purrs softly when she is happy. Maeve loves to run on her exercise wheel! She loves to be groomed with a soft bristled brush. She really loves her kitty siblings too, since they all grew up together in the shelter. Maeve is a sweet, loving girl who is very deserving of a family.

What happens next

  1. Contact Jersey Shore Animal Center using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Jersey Shore Animal Center, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
