Notes from FuRRR Feline Rescue

Jeff - Male DOB 8/6/2017 Domestic Short Hair - Orange Tabby Meet Jeff.

Jeff is an orange 9-year-old with a permanent resting sad face and the soul of a retired cool uncle. Don't let the sad face fool you — Jeff is happy, he just looks like he's contemplating taxes.

Jeff is A WHOLE VIBE. He has his people, and when he sees them? He greets you. Like, actually comes over to say hi. That's not common for a cat with his level of senior cool.

His ideal day: lounging in his casual, laid-back corner, watching the world go by, getting head scratches on _his_ schedule. He's not needy, he's not chaotic. He's just... Jeff.

Jeff has main-character energy and knows it. He's an alpha guy who has earned the right to not share his space, his couch, or his humans. He would do best as your one-and-only. No other cats, please — Jeff is enough cat for one house.

If you're looking for a chill, loyal, orange loaf who will greet you at the door and then immediately go back to being effortlessly cool, Jeff is your guy.

What happens next

  1. Contact FuRRR Feline Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to FuRRR Feline Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
