Lucy - Female DOB 8/10/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Brown/White Tabby
Meet Lucy! This sweet girl found herself in a southern shelter after her owner had to move into a nursing home. Confused, scared, and facing an uncertain future, Lucy was very close to being euthanized before she was given a second chance.
Lucy is a gentle, friendly girl, with big golden eyes, who can be a little shy at first. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys getting pets and attention from her people and will reward you with her sweet, quiet companionship. After everything she's been through, Lucy would love a home where she can finally feel safe, settled, and truly loved.
Lucy would be happiest as your one-and-only pet. She does not enjoy the company of other cats and would prefer not to share her home with a dog. Older, respectful children who understand that cats sometimes need their own space may be a good fit for her.
A quieter home with a calm, predictable routine would be ideal for Lucy. She would love a cozy bed, a sunny window to watch the world outside, and a person who is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to settle in and feel secure. And we discovered that is you softly sing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" to her, it relaxes her and she rolls on her side...
If you're looking for a sweet, kind-hearted companion who has been through a lot and is ready for a fresh start, Lucy may be the loving little girl you've been waiting for.
