Notes from Cats Cradle Shelter Inc.

Diem (6 months old)

Diem is a shy kitten currently in the shelter. She isn't sure that humans are ok yet, but she is willing to take any treats that they might have to offer! If you are the patient type (which Diem needs), you can pet her softly. She has a beautiful tabby coat with pronounced markings, and she loves cozy beds to hide in and sleep in. She lived outdoors before she came to the shelter and is used to the company of other cats. Diem would like a quiet, calm home where she can come out of her shell and feel at ease. A home where people aren't going in and out of the house constantly would also be best, as this kitten might be a door dasher.

All kittens need some special play time and socialization from a friendly and patient adopter, especially more shy and gentle ones like Diem. Keep in mind that kittens often need to burn off energy and bond with other kittens or good-natured, active adult cats, so consider adopting two if you don't already have a companion at home for Diem.
