Candy Stripes is a beautiful tortie with mesmerizing eyes. She and her kittens were surrendered at a shelter and Purr Partners was able to rescue them and get them into a safe and healthy environment. Candy was a great mom, very attentive and protective. Her babies have all found homes. Now it is her turn to find her furever home. Candy has a very reserved personality. She doesn’t run and hid – but it takes a little while to gain her trust. She enjoys hanging out on cat trees, watching the birds and squirrels from her window perch. She has been around dogs likes for them to keep their distance. She adores back scratches and has a sweet spot near her tail and belly rubs. Like most shy kitties, once you gain her trust, you will have a friend for life. She also has a playful side; she likes running thru mesh tunnels, chasing laser pointers and playing with wand toys. If you are looking for a calm, sweet companion Candy Stripe is the kitty for you!
