Notes from Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville

Martina is a playful, loving little kitty but she is more independent than her brother Mateo. She wants to run and play and explore. She gets curious about what her brother is doing with the human and she comes over to check it out. Mateo and Martina are sweet kittens who enjoy pets very much. They came to us nearly starving to death. A teen girl was trying to care for them the best she could in a crate in the backyard because her parents would not allow them in the home but they had no money for food either. So we saved them from that difficult situation, and they have been thriving after their recovery, dealing with the parasites and getting them well. Now they deserve comfort and love for the rest of their life. No more wondering where their next meal will come from. No more worrying about the predators outside or being run over in a busy street. Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Mateo and Martina or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
