Notes from Haywood County Animal Shelter
Monte is a chill dude, very sweet, but very cautious with new people he doesn't know. He likes to smell his victu...uh, I mean smell the new person first as his way of the initial greeting. If he approves, he will then allow pets. First he likes to do slow blinks, then he likes to roll sideways, once those niceties have been observed, you may pet him. If he likes you, he will reward you by talking your ear off asking for more. This sweet man is used to being an indoor outdoor cat, but he may decide, if the pets and the treats are good, to be an indoor cat and the best companion.
