Notes from Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville

Meet Bumble Bee — A Sweet Little Soul Waiting to Blossom! Bumble Bee is a shy, sweet boy who needs a patient, loving person willing to help him discover how wonderful life in a forever home can be. He may spend quite a while hiding when he first arrives, but he responds well to gentle petting. With time, reassurance, and lots of love, he has so much potential to blossom into a confident, affectionate companion! His handsome brother, Dragonfly, is quite the opposite — a bold, outgoing boy in a dapper black tuxedo! These two make quite the pair, and adopting them together could be a wonderful way to welcome twice the kitten love into your home. Be sure to read Dragonfly’s bio, too! One important consideration: Both boys came from an outdoor cat colony, so keeping them safely indoors is essential. Bumble Bee, in particular, currently seems very interested in finding a way back outside, even scratching at windows during his first week in a foster home. His new family will need to be especially vigilant about doors, windows, and other potential escape routes while he adjusts to indoor life. If you have a gentle heart and the patience to let a shy kitten blossom at his own pace, Bumblebee could be a very special addition to your family. There is something truly wonderful about watching a cautious little kitten grow into a confident, self-assured cat — and Bumble Bee deserves the chance to discover that kind of love and security! Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Bumble Bee and Dragonfly or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
