Notes from Surry Animal Rescue

Look at this sweet boy!!!! Frankenstein is about 7 weeks old and just a little baby.

One of our volunteers was at work and her coworker came to her and asked for help with a kitten. This poor little baby took a 30 minute ride in the engine of her car. We don't know how he survived but he did and now he is looking for his forever home.

Frankie had an infection in his eyes that has been treated. He did test positive this week for Coccidia and is being treated for that too. Luckily our vet caught that early, if he still had been a stray he wouldn't have made it.

Frankie is such a sweet little guy, the vet techs are all spoiling him rotten. He rides around on one techs shoulder during the day and they take him out of his cage for many daily snuggles.

He is looking for a foster or forever home. He will need to be kept separate from other cats for the next couple of weeks but can be with dogs if they stay out of his litter box.

Please fill out a foster or adoption application from our website if you are interested.

What happens next

  1. Contact Surry Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Surry Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
