Notes from Piedmont Animal Rescue

From her foster: Meet Valentine! Valentine is a gorgeous brown tabby with beautiful, unique markings that make her truly one of a kind. But as pretty as she is, her personality is what will steal your heart. Valentine is an absolute cuddle enthusiast. If there’s a lap available, she’s ready to claim it! She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she’s getting all the love and attention she can soak up. She’s also a total social girl and loves both cats and dogs, so she’d be thrilled to have some furry friends in her forever home. Valentine has been waiting a long time for her forever family—since she was just four months old. Despite all that time, she remains as sweet, loving, and hopeful as ever. She’s ready to find the family she’s been waiting for. Could you be her happily ever after?

What happens next

  1. Contact Piedmont Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Piedmont Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
