Notes from 9 Lives Cat Rescue of Oxford MS

Cendric’s life could have ended very differently. He and his brother, Glover, were spotted along busy College Hill Road, darting back and forth between the nearby woods and the roadway. The tiny orange tabbies were crying because they were hungry, but they were too frightened to let anyone get close.

Their rescuer went home, grabbed food and a carrier, and returned determined to help them. No mama or additional kittens could be found, and with cars speeding along the road, leaving the brothers there simply wasn’t an option. Fortunately, the hungry kittens couldn’t resist the food. They walked into the carrier to eat, the door was closed, and their dangerous roadside adventure was finally over.

Since then, Cendric has discovered how wonderful life can be when food, safety, toys, and affection are always available. He is now a very sweet, playful orange tabby who is ready to enjoy everything kittenhood has to offer.

Cendric escaped a very dangerous beginning. Now he’s looking for a forever family that will make sure his future is filled with love, playtime, and safe adventures.
