Miss Frankie – Female | Gray, Medium Hair. Gentle, sweet, and a little sensitive!

Frankie is a beautiful, sweet-natured little girl with a gentle personality.

She enjoys affection and attention but can be a little more cautious than some of her siblings. Sudden noises or unfamiliar situations may startle her, and her first instinct is usually to move somewhere she feels safe.

Once Frankie feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She's not aggressive; she simply appreciates a little patience and reassurance when something frightens her.

Frankie has been exposed to dogs, but they still make her nervous, so she would benefit from a home where she can build confidence at her own pace.

Ideal Home: Frankie would do best in a calm, patient household with older children or adults who understand that some kittens need a little extra time to feel secure. A home without dogs may be the best fit for her.

A Little About Their Upbringing

These kittens have been loved and cared for since they were very young.

They were regularly handled and socialized before coming into full-time foster care. When their mother became ill, we took over their daily care and have continued raising them as members of our family.

Our goal has always been to prepare them for happy, successful lives in their forever homes.

A few important things about their upbringing:

Socialization: All have been raised around people and regularly handled by children ages 10 and older.

Other animals: All five have experience around other cats and dogs and have generally been comfortable with both.

Litter training: All five have demonstrated excellent litter box habits, including when exploring unfamiliar areas of the house.

Handling: They are accustomed to being picked up, held, petted, and loved.

Play: They enjoy interactive toys, climbing, exploring, and playing together.

Positive reinforcement: They've been raised with gentle redirection rather than punishment. We encourage their future families to continue using positive, patient training methods.

Adoption Fee: $ 100.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.

Interested in this pet? Please fill out a non-binding application. Our goal is to find life-long matches between animals and families, and the application provides us with a lot of information to help us help you find that match!

What happens next

  1. Contact The Animal Rescue Alliance using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The Animal Rescue Alliance, never to AdoptNearby.
