About Me Meet Mochi, a playful black kitten with a curious spirit and a knack for making you smile. Mochi’s favorite spot is his window hammock, where he’ll watch the world go by—or the TV—while keeping you company from a comfortable distance. He’s an “aloof admirer,” preferring his space but always nearby, ready to greet you at the door or curl up for a nap if you let him. Mochi loves his food and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s mealtime—expect adorable meows and gentle leg rubs. He’s a fan of fuzzy balls and will even play fetch, bringing them back for another round. Cardboard boxes, paper bags, and matchbox cars are all fair game for his bursts of kitten energy, and he’ll zoom up the back of the couch to his hammock when the mood strikes. He’s litter box and scratching post trained, and while he hasn’t met other cats or dogs yet, he’s been comfortable around new people and gets along well with a lively 10-year-old. Mochi’s past as a stray means he’s extra curious about the outdoors, often sitting by the screen door to watch what’s happening outside. Mochi is currently in a “play biting” phase—he sometimes nibbles when he wants to play, but this seems to be a kitten stage and hasn’t been an issue with others in the family. He’s not a fan of car rides or vacuums, but he’ll happily chase a broom if you’re sweeping.
