Charlotte - Pending Adoption

Charlotte is an affectionate, low-maintenance, silly 8-year-old ginger girl who is looking for a low-key household where she can be the sole queen, ruling over her queendom. Charlotte likes to spend most of her day in her cozy nook that she commandeered from her foster parents (“Can you believe they wanted to use this bathroom drawer for storage? How ridiculous! I fit perfectly” - Charlotte, probably). However, she likes to balance this solo time with making sure that whenever she’s out and about in the house, she’s got her sights set, and ideally a part of her body, on at least one of her foster parents. She could rival a muscle car engine with the power of her purrs, and she likes to do them whenever she’s with her foster humans to remind them that she really, truly loves them. She likes to rub her body and perfectly round cheeks against her human friends and also appreciates a good scritching. As she’s gotten more comfortable, she’s even started laying on her foster mom’s lap, at first only with a blanket, but recently as long as her foster mom is wearing comfy long pants and sitting on the couch, she’ll make herself at home. Charlotte came into foster with another cat, but with the change in living circumstances, she determined that she’d actually prefer to live with only humans. While Charlotte has not been introduced to children or dogs while in foster, she is still quite skittish about loud noises and sudden movement, so she likely would not thrive in a household with anything other than loving adult humans who are excited to spend time with her. She does take some time to warm up to new people, as she spent the first 8 years of her life only interacting only with her guardian, so a busy household likely wouldn’t be a fit for Charlotte. If you’re looking for a chill, loving girl who appreciates quiet evenings spent cuddled on the couch, beautiful Charlotte might be your match!
