Notes from PJ's Rescue

Meow there! My name is Dionte aka Nugget (that’s what my foster mom calls me). I’m a little bundle of curious paws and sweet purrs just waiting to meet you! Life started out a little rough for me. When they found me I was in rough shape with a severe ear infection and a little bit of issue with my left eye. I seem to have a little paralysis on the left side of my face, which makes it more difficult to close my left eye. I’m feeling so much better and getting happy and healthy and don’t let any of it stop me from exploring the world. I’m a teeny bit shy when we first meet—I like to do a super quick safety check behind the furniture but once I pop out of my shell, I’m all about non-stop fun! I love exploring every cozy nook, chasing tiny jingle balls, and making new friends. I don’t mind cats or dogs as long as they’re nice to me otherwise, that can be scary. The moment I know you’re my human, I’ll turn into the happiest little snuggle bug, ready for epic playtime followed by the warm lap snuggles full of lots of purring. If you are looking for a sweet love bug to add to your family then I’m the purrfect fit!

What happens next

  1. Contact PJ's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to PJ's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
