Notes from Marshmallow Foundation
Anakin is a sleek black beauty with a mysterious look and a surprisingly goofy soul. He loves cardboard boxes and leaning into your hand for pets. Once he decides you’re his person, he’ll follow you from room to room like a loyal little shadow. Ready to bring a bit of quiet magic (and lots of purrs) into your life?
Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online:

What happens next
- Contact Marshmallow Foundation using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Marshmallow Foundation, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
