Notes from Marshmallow Foundation

Hi there! I’m Brama, a young, energetic girl with the sweetest soul and the softest purr. I may be a little shy at first (new places are big and exciting!), but once I trust you, I turn into the ultimate lovebug. I love head boops, chin scratches, and curling up in your lap for long, happy snuggles.

I’m super playful too! Give me a wand toy, a crinkle ball, or even a cardboard box and I’ll show you my best zoomies and pounce moves. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always ready to follow my favorite person from room to room just to be near you.

Brama is looking for a patient, loving home where I can keep growing into my full confident kitty self. I’d do great as an only cat or with another gentle kitty friend. Kids, adults, quiet homes, or slightly busier ones — as long as there’s plenty of love and playtime, I’m happy!

If you’re looking for a sweet girl who will give you endless cuddles and daily entertainment, I might be your perfect match.

Come meet me at the shelter — I can’t wait to show you how much love I have to give!

Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online:

Can't adopt right now? Marshmallow Foundation is looking for a foster home for Brama. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact Marshmallow Foundation using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Marshmallow Foundation, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
