Notes from Macomb County Animal Shelter and Animal Control
Meet Tipsy Daisy! Three legs, a heart full of love, and a whole lot of personality! Tipsy Daisy is a beautiful 4-year-old calico with a stunning patchwork coat and a story of resilience that makes her even more special! Tipsy Daisy was found as an injured stray with a severe fracture to her right rear leg that unfortunately required emergency amputation. But nobody told this sweet girl that having three legs should slow her down! She's adjusted wonderfully and gets around just fine, proving that a little something missing doesn't make her any less extraordinary! Despite everything she's endured, Tipsy Daisy is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happy girl who absolutely adores attention. She loves being petted and will happily follow her humans around, offering adorable little chirps to remind them she's nearby and ready for some love! She's also a big fan of wet food and enjoys lounging in warm patches of sunshine streaming through the windows. Tipsy Daisy has been living in a foster home with both dogs and other cats and has done well coexisting with her furry roommates. She doesn't require special treatment because of her missing leg, just the same love, care, and companionship any kitty deserves! Three paws, endless love, and one very special little lady! Tipsy Daisy is ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a family who will cherish her for the wonderful girl she is.
